| Bio: | WhoBlue Alvarez Designs is myself, Jen Paulousky. Click here to view my design CV. All textile creations on this site are either my original designs or a re-design/re-purposing of vintage goods. WhatCurrently I design knitwear and clothing for all sexes. Music is an ever-present influence, and I like to link to whomever I'm currently listening to. WhereBlue Alvarez Designs is now located in Boston, MA. The best way to contact me is via email. My clothing is currently available at my online store, and on Etsy. Knitting patterns are on my DIY page, and are also distributed by Circles in Roslindale, MA. WhenThe Blue Alvarez Designs website has been up and running since September 2004. Blue Alvarez Designs became a registered business in the Commonwealth of Massachusettes on 5/8/06. WhyWell, why not? I believe good design can be both accessible and affordable. My goal is to encourage people to seek both beauty and utility in their everyday objects. HowAll my pieces are handmade, original designs. Since I am vegan, the vast majority of my materials are too. :) I currently use a Bernina Aurora 430, a Husquvarna Huskylock serger, and a Silver Reed Bulky 155, as well as my own two hands and Addi Turbos.
